2016 Environmental Humanities graduate Jack Stauss was recently hired at Glen Canyon Institute (GCI) as the office manager. GCI has been a leading advocate for Glen Canyon’s restoration and Colorado River policy for 20 years. Jack brings his experience working with land ethic and stewardship to the small team of passionate environmentalists at GCI. He will be working on general upkeep of the organization’s daily tasks like fundraising and membership coordination as well as planning outreach events.
In the coming year, he will travel through the Colorado River Basin states and speak about GCI’s science based advocacy projects. Keep an eye out for Jack in a town near you summer 2017 to learn more about the restoration of Glen Canyon and the protection of land and water in the West.
