Josh Wennergren, Recent EH grad, Publishes Op-Ed

Josh Wennergren, recent EH grad, published an op-ed in the Salt Lake Tribune on 6/17/17. His piece celebrates the practice of quieting down as we experience wilderness and the outdoors. He suggests that quiet increases rather than detracts from the power of the wilderness.

Josh graduated from the Environmental Humanities Graduate Program in the spring and for his final work, he wrote a creative piece entitled: The Silvertip Womb: New words for the story of Utah’s last grizzly bear. He is the Education Access Program Coordinator at Utah Humanities.
