Cleo Warner, EH First Year Student, Talks Geo-Engineering
Environmental Humanities first year student, Cleo Warner, recently hosted a live podcast as part of the Climate Geoengineering: GeoE Live virtual conference. Cleo is part of the Institute on Science for Global Policy’s (ISGP) “The Forum,” the non-profit organization that hosted the event in partnership with Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment (American University) and Arizona State University.
ISGP’s "The Forum," is a bi-weekly podcast series that addresses currently debated scientific topics. The podcasts are entertaining yet informative and each episode updates listeners on how contemporary scientific issues pertain to their daily lives without overly technical terms and analyses.
GeoE Live was a half day virtual workshop that discussed climate change solutions. The event took place Tuesday afternoon and included interviews, panels and the live video podcast. Cleo and her co-host finished off the event with their half hour live discussion. Cleo also put together the “Forum on the Street” video that preceded the live podcast. The event helped illuminate climate change solutions for those who virtually attended.
