Thanks to a generous award from the Mellon Foundation, our Program seeks a Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator to play an important role in developing and executing our community engagement and outreach strategy with the goal of furthering environmental justice on campus and the wider Salt Lake community. This position will coordinate the Program’s community engagement efforts, including partnerships with local environmental nonprofits, supporting Community Engagement Graduate Fellows, event planning, and coordination of the semesterly practitioner-in-residence. They will also assist with Environmental Humanities communications and outreach, including social media, blog, and newsletter, and coordinate with the College of Humanities communications staff on press releases and website updates.
